Our Wineglass Bay tours departs from Hobart, heading east then following the Great Eastern Drive north. We’ll travel through the seaside towns of Orford, Triabunna and Swansea as we make our way along the East Coast of Tasmania towards the Freycinet National Park.  We’ll stop briefly along the way to take in some of the local highlights including a coffee stop in the pictureque seaside town of Orford.

Our tour is carefully designed to help you maximise your enjoyment and minimise the time spent in large crowds of people, so we hike up to the Wineglass Bay Lookout nice and early.  It is an uphill hike on well formed gravel paths and the return trip typically takes just over 90 minutes.  At the top of the hill we can enjoy the breath taking views from the Wineglass Bay Lookout and capture the most iconic photo of Tasmania’s jewel.  Be guided throughout the day by a truly local Tasmanian guide who is passionate and proud to share this special part of Tasmania with you.

Upon returning to our tour van we will take a short drive to Cape Tourville where we can explore the wild East Coast of Tasmania, taking in easterly views as far as the eye can see to the horizon. This is where we often see whales (seasonal), seals and an incredible array of seabirds. With your visual and audible senses hyper stimulated, the afternoon is spent stimulating your tastebuds. Enjoy a delicious restaurant lunch overlooking the Hazards Mountains in Coles Bay and sample some delicious wine from Tasmania’s East Coast Vineyards.  We then leave Wineglass and focus on the wine glass as we visit a local vineyard and sample their premium wines.

After a full day of fun and exploration we jump aboard the bus again to make our way back to Hobart. The drive home is usually spent sharing our experiences and tales with each other and celebrating our amazing day out.  We’ll drop you off at the Brooke St Pier at approximately 6pm.
