TOUR INCLUSIONS: Tea/coffee on arrival / visit a winery, cidery, brewery and distillery / Full tour and tastings with on-site staff / approx 4-6+ tastings at each location / meet the makers / industry-led tour guide / travel in air-conditioned van / bottle purchases available on the day. All tastings included. *Lunch to be purchased on the day approx $20-$25.

Our Drink Tasmania Cider and Wine Half Day Tour takes you to 3 of southern Tasmania's best craft beverage experiences in the Huon Valley, plus a couple of special stop-ins along the way.

Visits and tastings at Home Hill Winery, Willie Smith's Apple Shed and one of either Frank's Cider, Pagan Cider, or Kate Hill Wines. Please note, while this is our usual itinerary, the order may change slightly due to industry operations. Start times are fixed, however end of tour times can change slightly depending upon traffic and other factors. 

When: 6 days a week! Check the calendar for upcoming available dates. Approximately 4.5 hours.

Where to meet: Brooke St Pier, Hobart, 10am. You will meet your guide at the top of the ramp, inside the glass doors. 

End of Tour: approximately 2:50pm at Hobart Brewing Company, 16 Evans Street Hobart.

Our full day Wine Tour will introduce you to some of Tasmania’s most interesting and invigorating wines. You'll have the opportunity to meet some of the producers and growers, walk through the vineyards (where permitted), learn about why Tasmania’s cool-climate wines are heralded internationally as some of the world’s best. And of course we will sample numerous varieties from new-world sparkling’s to old-world pinot’s and a swathe of styles in between.

A morning tea snack (such as a cheese platter) is included in this price.

Drink Tasmania is now available to accommodate customised private tours from Hobart. Do you have a corporate group or special celebration that requires a uniquely memorable experience you're looking to organise in Tasmania? We can arrange single day or multi-day tours for the avid whisky or wine aficionado’s that want the absolute in-depth experience of everything Tasmania has to offer, including visiting places that aren’t on our public tours.

We can cater for small (4 pax) or large groups (up to 50 pax), single or
multi-day tours. We are experienced in making the day amazing for
corporate group special events, cruise ship passengers, and family
groups.

Private tours can be booked by request any day of the week.  We can arrange to visit
different producers on certain days of the week depending on
availability, however we will always ensure we create the best and most
diverse experience available for you on any given day.

You will receive a private tour guide and the flexibility
to curate your own tour route. You can leave it up to us to create the
itinerary for you, or you may wish to visit certain places. We
specialise in working on this together with our guests to suggest what
will offer the best experience for your group as well as ensuring the
places that you wish to visit are available on the day, that it fits the
producers’ schedule and that they aren’t too far apart geographically.

At the end of the day, it’s your tour and we want to do
everything we can to make it memorable, including arranging champagne,
birthday cakes, maybe even signed bottles! Just ask us and we’ll see
what we can do.
